February 2008
…and that is what we call a crappy drive home from San Francisco. Rain, you vex me so.

Haunting the SixApart offices again. Good news though.. LiveJournal has a new office in downtown SF to be open in mid-Feb.
After finishing a conference call with my product team in Russia, I am now debating the true identity of Hannah Montana with my 3-year old.
Time shifted my work schedule because I needed to watch the kids today due to Allie’s illness. Going to bed way to late.
It’s a good thing @JohnMcCain2008 ‘is now following’ me on Twitter ‘cause it ain’t going to happen the other way around. @BarackObama FTW!
Thinking that using a mail client is ok within a 24-hour window of a plane ride and sometimes not even then. Software is bulky.
Have you ever slipped at the end of a business call and said ‘I love you’? Me neither.
Miles turned 3 today. Allie came down with a fever. Hilarity ensued as I re-routed birthday party to Super Franks FTW. Luggage arrived too.
Watched Juno again. This time noticed in the credits DJ ‘Cut Chemist’ plays the chemistry teacher. Subtle.
Good thing I didn’t really *need* my luggage… it’s still not here yet and it’s been over a day.

Having some fun with ‘panorama mode’ on my new Sony Ericsson W880i phone. Very cool that it lets you do an on camera panorama shot.
Also… it’s good to be home.
back in the colonies, or UK 2.0.
Boarding an SF bound British Airways flight. Cheers!
Staying at a crummy hotel near Heathrow. Meeting @Robk for breakfast on the go. G’nite!

Economy class travel sucks. Must make use of frequent flier miles next time.
Leaving moscow.
Trying to explain the humor behind @Mike_ftw ‘s Lolsheviks pool on Flickr in Moscow. Not going well. Apparently this Lenin guy was a jerk.
I think I just lost the battle of only using web mail clients. Gears for Gmail, where are you!
Just hired an Office Manager. Now to get the office.
Just bought an unlocked Sony Ericsson W880i phone for use in Russia and UK. I’m global baby.
Time to make the donuts (or whatever they make in Russia, it probably involves lamb).

Lots of fun looking cars in Russia.
Walked over a frozen lake during a hike outside of Moscow. Then had a snowball fight with the executive team.
It’s snowing in Moscow. Watching a team of shovelers clear the streets. Headed to a dacha in the woods for a traditional meal and fire.

Amazing day. Sauna, then Pushkin museum with Picasso, Monet, Rodin, Cezanne, Munch, and other Impressionists. Plus Red Square!
Had borscht and vodka yesterday (not at the same time). Leaving in a bit for a ‘banya’ where a large Russian man will walk on my back. !?!?
My iPhone didn’t work in London nor is it working in Moscow despite getting some sort of world roaming plan added by AT&T. Wifi works though
Finally checked into my apartment in Moscow. That was a *lot* of traveling also, I can’t hear out of my left ear. Going to bed now.
